Privacy policy

Plain English. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Last updated: 3 June 2026.

Who we are

Conduit is the trading name of Jamaal Hook, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us about privacy at jamaal@getconduit.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

When you book a call. Our booking links go to Cal.com. When you book, you give Cal.com your name, email address, the time you picked, and anything you type into the booking notes. We use that only to schedule the call and to prepare for it. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in talking to people who want to talk to us.

Server logs. Our host, Vercel, automatically records standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. We use this to keep the site secure and working. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure site.

No tracking. We do not currently run analytics, advertising, or any tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone. If that changes we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Some of these providers process data outside the UK and the EEA. Where they do, the transfer relies on the safeguards in their own terms, such as standard contractual clauses.

Research we do about prospects

Conduit’s work involves building a tailored asset for a specific company using information that is already public, such as a company website or public profile. Those per-prospect pages are private, are set to not be indexed by search engines, and are addressed to one named recipient. If you believe we hold information about you in this way and you want it removed, contact us at the address above and we will remove it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and conversation details for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. We do not keep personal data longer than we need it.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EEA you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.
